Most religions assume that you find purpose through some agent that sits above or outside the world and imbues it with purpose.
Fusion power is speculative and experimental. I think it is reckless to assume that the fusion problem will be cracked, but I’m happy to estimate how much power fusion could deliver, if the problems are cracked.

We are bothered a good deal by people who assume the responsibility of the world when God is neglectful.
